He has the intellect to truly understand the nuances of how each student approaches problem solving combined with the good-hearted nature to keep students positively motivated. I’m a private tutor based in New York City, with more than thirteen years of experience helping students perform at the highest levels on standardized exams and in the classroom.

I graduated from Hunter College High School and then attended Northwestern University, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude and  received multiple scholarships for academic excellence. I began my teaching career as a university lecturer before transitioning full-time into the high pressure world of private tutoring in Manhattan.

Over the course of my career, I have worked with hundreds of students from public, private, and international schools and logged more than 15,000 hours of one-on-one instruction. My students have earned hundreds of top-percentile scores, including over 100 results of 1500+ on the SAT and 34+ on the ACT.

I also practice what I teach. In recent years, I have earned perfect scores of 1600 on the Digital SAT and 340 on the GRE, along with a 790 (99th percentile) on the GMAT.

Outside of tutoring, I have co-authored and edited textbooks and practice tests, including several by Bespoke Education, where I spent more than a decade as a tutor, mentor, and curriculum developer.
