If you are interested in becoming a private tutor yourself, I offer a free mentorship program that is open to a limited number of applicants per year.

How It Works

The Collegiants Mentorship Program is a selective program that offers comprehensive training and professional guidance to aspiring educators and tutors in the early stages of their careers.

As a tutor with well over a decade of experience working both independently and with major test preparation companies, including many years as a leading SAT and ACT trainer and mentor at Bespoke Education, I am well positioned to help newer tutors improve their craft and develop successful careers of their own.

If accepted into the program, you will have the opportunity to participate in regular one-on-one mentorship meetings and free training sessions covering instructional strategies, lesson planning, test preparation, and the practical aspects of building a tutoring career. You will also become eligible to participate in our referral and pro bono tutoring programs.

Application Requirements

All applicants are required to submit the following materials:

  • Completed Application Form

  • Resume

  • Official SAT or ACT Score Report

  • Short Personal Statement (250 Words Maximum)

Applicants are also encouraged, but not required, to submit the following materials:

  • College Transcript

  • Short Introduction Video

Application Process

To get started, request an application form by filling out the contact information below.

The initial application deadline is January 5, 2027.

Applicants selected to advance to the second round will be invited to participate in an interview and a demonstration lesson, both of which will be conducted by the end of February.

Final admissions decisions will be issued thereafter. The mentorship program is expected to begin in spring 2027 and continue through the summer, with the goal of preparing participants to begin or expand their tutoring careers during the 2027–2028 school year.

Although the program is primarily designed for aspiring and early-career tutors, applicants with a wide range of experience levels are welcome.

There is no application fee or cost to participate in the program, so I encourage anyone interested in developing their tutoring skills to apply.
